Intentions versus consequences

At this meeting we will have a topic, but no presenter. Everyone will be able to contribute.
The topic of Intentions vs Consequences was triggered by two interesting books Metaphysical Animals and The women are up to something which have just come out about 4 women philosophers (Murdoch, Midgley, Foot, Anscombe). Elizabeth Anscombe came up with the term "consequentialist". She believed consequences were a lot more important than intentions.
