We all belong to a community in Kingston that is diverse and enjoys good relationships. The Kingston Interfaith Forum (KIFF), amongst many other organisations, has always sought to continue to build and maintain positive relationships between all the members of the Borough.
In response to the terrible events around the world, KIFF and the people in Kingston joined the national We Stand Together campaign and we have rallied our communities together on a number of occasions. We Stand Together encourages people to come together as one and celebrate their differences in order to build a safer and stronger United Kingdom.
As well as a number of terrible world events including incidents Turkey, Orlando, Baghdad and Nice. The recent rise in hate crime in Britain following the referendum has prompted us again to call a We Stand Together event, so that no matter our political views, we prevail in standing together to build a safer stronger country for all its citizens.
The event took place outside Bentalls at 11am on Monday 18th of July.
