The Kingston Faith and Belief Forum aims to celebrate and support communities in Kingston by promoting understanding and fostering cooperation between people of religious and non-religious beliefs.


Chair: Revd Joe Moffatt

The Revd Joe Moffatt is an Anglican priest. He is currently Team Rector of Kingston Team Ministry and Vicar of All Saints Kingston.  He was previously Vicar of St Mary with St Alban Teddington and chaired the Richmond Borough Faith and Belief Forum.  Joe has a passion for good relationships with other faith communities and partnerships with local organisations.

 

 

Vice Chair: Madhur Hemnani

Madhur_Hemnani.jpgMadhur Hemnani is one of the founders of Namaste Kingston a not-for-profit organisation that has been working in Kingston especially across South Asian community to support their integration with the wider community. Madhur has been a resident of Kingston borough for the past 12 years and is passionate to foster cross cultural dialogues and engagement across different community groups. 

 

Vice Chair: Dr Sarah Mehdi

Dr_Sarah_Mehdi.jpgDr Sarah Mehdi is one of the founders and trustees at the Surrey Islamic Centre in Kingston. She has lived in Kingston all  her life and is a busy GP and mum of 3 but is very passionate about community and faith work and feels strongly about maintaining good interfaith relations, especially in this day and age. She has been a member of the Faith and Belief Forum for several years.
