Allotments are only available to the residents of Keynsham. When applying you will need to provide your address and other contact details (telephone number and/or email address). To apply for an allotment please make contact with:

Please be aware that all members are required to sign an allotment tenancy agreement in duplicate. One copy being retained by the association and the other by the tenant. A copy of the agreement is also shown on this website.
The application process will initially involve a site visit whereby prospective tenants will be shown the available plot(s) by the site manager. This will be done at a mutually agreed time and normally a decision is made during this visit. The plot is then allocated to the new tenant after the allotment agreement is signed and payment of the rent is received (payment can be made by cheque, cash or bank transfer) and if possible this can be done at the end of the site visit. The process of site visits may be suspended should any new COVID restictions be put in place, but you will be notified of this and advised of any alternative process at the time.
Please note that the condition of each available plot is variable and it is the responsibility of the new tenant to accept this and, if needed, endeavour to improve the plot as soon as possible.
If there are no vacant allotment plots at the time of applying then your name will be added to the waiting list and you will be notified as soon as a plot is available. If in the interim period you no longer wish to be held on the waiting list please inform the site manager.
N.B. Our waiting list is larger than it has ever been and new applicants are likely to have to wait several years before a plot becomes available.
