Summer Evening Visit to Cedar House

This year we returned to a local garden which we visited some years ago. Cedar House is a local chalk garden in the Chilterns with a great variety of trees, shrubs and perennials and beatiful views.

 The large garden has far-reaching views out to the hills.

There are many winding paths to wander down, often with unusual plants which the owner was on hand to identify.

The steep sloping lawn leading down to a natural swimming pond with aquatic plants.

We finished the visit with tea and home-made cakes on the terrace.
