This is a weekly homage to the bands that have played at The Tower of Song over these years.

13 yrs ago Tom turned a derlict building in Kings Norton into an amazing little wenue for promoting live music however The Tower of Song now faces closure because Tom have been unable to have the venue open since March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Although The Tower have received some assistance from the local council and the arts council, they are still unable to meet their financial obligations.

Put your hands in your pockets

The Tower of Song is now part of a national initiative launched by Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues.

The Tower of Song has set up a Crowdfunder page and your donations will be used to pay for rent and bills to help keep the venue afloat until they are able to get up and running again.

If they hit their target we can prevent the closure and keep live music coming from South Birmingham

Everything above the amount they need will be donated to the Music Venue Trust GMV Crisis Fund to protect other venues just like The Tower of Song , right across the country.
