Volunteer Daytime Show Producer
Role Title: Volunteer Daytime Show Producer
Location: Studio-Based (Druids Heath Library Studio)
Commitment: 3–4 hours per week (Daytime slots available Monday to Friday)
About the Role:
If the presenter is the voice of the daytime show, the producer is its heartbeat. We are seeking a coordinated, tech-minded Volunteer Daytime Show Producer to drive our studio desk during our live daytime hours. This is a highly collaborative leadership role centered on guiding the team to success. You will sit at the controls, keeping a steady hand on the tech while actively supporting your Daytime Presenter and managing the clock. Working closely with the on-air talent and Daytime Researchers, you ensure our programming sounds professional, balanced, and perfectly coordinated from start to finish.

- Work dynamically as a team unit to weave in scripts from our Volunteer Radio Script Writers and audio clips from our Weather Reporters.
- Handle the technical setup for live studio guests or incoming phone-in requests from listeners.
- Ensure the live log is correctly maintained and collaborate with Audio Content Editors to highlight standout segments for future playback.
What We Are Looking For:
- A calm, focused individual who thrives in a live environment and can think on their feet.
- An exceptional team builder who knows how to encourage, prompt, and guide an on-air presenter constructively.
- Good technical confidence (full training on our specific studio desk will be provided by our technical team!).
- Reliability and a strong commitment to keeping the station running smoothly for our daytime audience.
