About the Role:

A well-fed team is a happy team! At Hope Radio Brum, our volunteers work hard to keep South Birmingham connected, and we want to ensure they are looked after while on shift. We are seeking a creative and organized Volunteer Station Chef & Kitchen Coordinator to take charge of our station kitchen hub. In this rewarding role, you will be the culinary heartbeat of the station—designing affordable, nourishing menus, cooking for our team, and maintaining a welcoming, clean kitchen space where volunteers can recharge between shows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Put the kettle on and keep the team fueled by making tea, coffee, and refreshments for arriving volunteers and studio guests.
• Design creative, inclusive, and budget-friendly menus tailored to the needs of the station's volunteer crew.
• Manage inventory, handle food ordering, and source fresh ingredients responsibly within the station's kitchen budget.
• Prep, cook, and serve hot meals, snacks, or buffet spreads for volunteers during major broadcasting days, events, or team meetings.
• Maintain strict food hygiene standards by cleaning up the kitchen, washing dishes, and sanitizing prep surfaces after cooking sessions.

What We Are Looking For:
