Commitment: Aligned with evening broadcasting blocks (e.g., 6:30 PM until close)

About the Role:

When the sun goes down, our evening music schedules come to life—and we need steady hands to guide the station safely through the night. We are recruiting dependable Volunteer Evening Duty Station Managers (DSMs) to oversee the facility and late-night broadcast teams. Working in pairs (2 DSMs on shift together), you will act as the senior leadership on the ground in the absence of the Station Manager. Together, you will share the responsibility for the station's evening safety, support live night-time show crews, and execute our vital building lockdown procedures at the end of the broadcast day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take over facility management from the daytime crew, ensuring you and your co-DSM are fully briefed on the night's upcoming live schedule.
• Support the Volunteer Evening Station Receptionist at the front desk to ensure the late-night studio remains secure against unauthorized building entry.
• Oversee evening production crews, ensuring late-night music broadcasts remain secure, orderly, and compliant.
• Act as the senior on-site decision-making team for health, safety, or facility emergencies during the evening shift.
• Jointly execute the strict station close-up checklist at the end of the broadcast, ensuring all studio hardware is safe, lights are out, and the building is securely locked down.
