Volunteer Studio 5 Virtual Show Researchers

Role Title: Volunteer Studio 5 Virtual Show Researcher

Location: 100% Remote (Home-Based)

Commitment: 2–4 hours per week (highly flexible)

About the Role:

In a virtual studio environment, preparation is everything. We are looking for resourceful Volunteer Studio 5 Virtual Show Researchers to supply the digital ammunition that powers our remote broadcasts. Working entirely online, you will hunt down stories, book remote interview guests, and build interactive digital show folders. You will ensure that your Volunteer Virtual Presenter has seamless access to cloud-based briefing docs, and you will coordinate closely with the Volunteer Virtual Show Producer to ensure all visual assets or audio cues align with the digital running order.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct digital research, fact-check stories, and pull local web links or news updates relevant to the Studio 5 show theme.
  • Coordinate the online booking and scheduling of remote interview guests, ensuring they receive their Cleanfeed instructions ahead of time.
  • Compile clear, hyperlinked digital briefing sheets and shared cloud documents for the Volunteer Virtual Presenter.
  • Attend pre-show virtual planning meetings to hand over research assets to the Volunteer Virtual Show Producer before the session goes live.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Strong online research abilities, proficient with collaborative tools like Google Docs, OneDrive, or shared digital workspaces.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a knack for structuring information cleanly for a presenter reading off a screen.
  • Great organizational skills to coordinate remote guests across varying digital availability.
