Welcome to Glastonbury Digital Cafe
Getting you confident with your phones, tablets, and laptops.
Technology can be brilliant, but it can also be incredibly frustrating when things do not work the way you expect. Whether you are struggling to video call your family, print a document, or just get your new smartphone to do what you want, we are here to help.
The Glastonbury Digital Cafe is a friendly, relaxed, and completely free space where local residents can get casual, patient tech support. There are no silly questions here—just friendly faces and practical help.
How We Can Help You
You can bring along your own smartphone, tablet, or laptop, or just pop in for a chat. We regularly help people with:
- The Basics: Turning devices on, adjusting text size, and navigating menus.
- Staying in Touch: Setting up email, WhatsApp, or video calls with family and friends.
- Online Essentials: Safe internet shopping, banking, and using NHS services online.
- Device Health: Cleaning up old files, managing storage, and handling software updates.
- Staying Safe: Spotting scams, managing passwords, and browsing securely.
Drop-In Sessions: When & Where
You do not need to book an appointment to see us; you can simply walk right in.
- Where to find us: St John's Church, Glastonbury
- When we meet: Every Monday morning
- Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Cost: Completely Free (and the kettle is always on!)
Please Note: Remember to bring your device with you, along with its charging cable and any relevant passwords or PIN numbers you might need to log in!
Want to Help? Volunteer With Us
If you are confident with technology and have a bit of patience, we are always looking for friendly volunteers to help chat with visitors and solve digital puzzles. You do not need to be a computer scientist—just a good listener who knows their way around a smartphone or laptop.
