Who We Are

Friends of Fairfield is a volunteer-led group formed in March 2026 by local residents who share a commitment to protecting and improving Fairfield Recreation Ground.

We bring together people from across the community to support the park as a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained space for everyone.

What We Do

We focus on practical, community-driven action:

  • Supporting the upkeep and improvement of the park
  • Promoting biodiversity and protecting green space
  • Working with local partners and the council
  • Organising community activities and initiatives
  • Providing a voice for local people in decisions about the park

Get Involved

There are many ways to be part of Friends of Fairfield:

  • Join as a volunteer
  • Share your ideas for the park
  • Help with events or initiatives
  • Stay informed about updates
