Ottawa Tourists to play at Stirling

Friendship Trophy

Renfrewshire 12th Province has played against Ottawa Valley Curling Association in Canada for over 30 years for the Friendship Trophy. The trophy is the final event of a 10 day tour and is played for every 4 years alternately in Canada and Scotland.

A touring team from Renfrewshire toured Ottawa Valley in 2018 and, in turn, Renfrewshire are scheduled to host the incoming Canadian curlers at the end of October 2022. This will be a mixed tour with 24 visiting curlers.

4 sheets are booked at the 10.00am-12.00pm session on Wednesday 26th October for the Ottawa tour.

12:45pm Lunch at Gloagburn Farm Shop (Players are invited to attend)

2:15pm Leave for Perth Ice Rink

Ice fee £9.50 To check in to play, the ice is booked under Ottawa Valley Tour and the ice fee should be paid to the organising team on the ice.

Isobel Hannon, the organiser, Andy Robinson, the Scottish host group captain and Margaret Richardson, the treasurer, will all be present.
