On a sunny morning in January, the team planted 110 saplings of hawthorn, blackthorn, rowan and other varieties to make a hedgerow which will one day provide shelter and food for wildlife and birds. The saplilngs were donated by The Woodland Trust in their mission to encourage tree and hedge planting for wildlife and to combat climate change.
