DAVID CLINE

David has over 25 years' experience in the charity and education sectors.

He has worked for several Jewish charities and youth organisations and was Education Director at Jewish AIDS Trust (where he is now Trustee) before embarking on a teaching career. 

After a successful teaching career including being a secondary school Deputy Headteacher for 9 years, he recently decided upon a change of course. He is now focussed on providing quality education across wider sections of society and is driven by his commitment to social justice, equality of opportunity and improving life chances for all members of our communities.

In his spare time he enjoys being run ragged by two sons who love rugby and trying to find some quiet time with his wife!

 

KHAISER KHAN

Khaiser has over 25 years’ experience in providing services and education in the field of health, with particular expertise in HIV and sexual health. As a medical doctor and clinical psychologist he has worked across both public and charity sectors in diverse settings.

Being a committed Muslim he has led ground-breaking initiatives within the Muslim community. These include leading training for communal leaders, developing educational materials for young people, speaking on community panels, delivering sermons on the importance of sexual health and HIV awareness and leading on HIV testing within the faith setting.

Khaiser’s ethos centres around reducing inequality and promoting humanitarian values.

When not working, Khaiser enjoys interior design and loves providing treats to his wonderful grandchildren.

 

RACHEL MUSOMBA

Rachel Musomba is the HIV faith worker at Africa Advocacy Foundation (AAF).

Rachel is a Public Health Specialist with a Social Science Background from Makerere University with Quality Management training from McGill University, Montreal Canada. She is currently pursuing a PHD in Public Health and Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine with speciality in HIV, ageing and Non-Communicable Diseases. 

Rachel is also a renowned researcher with over 10 years of HIV clinical and programming experience. She has made significant research contributions in the areas of antiretroviral therapy  and opportunistic infection with peer-reviewed publications.
