As you can see when the Hall was first built there were translucent panels in the roof to let the light in, but they proved problematic as they dripped condensation in certain weathers and eventuality leaked, so when a new roof was installed they were not replaced like for like, but with normal roof panels. More recently, solar panels have been installed on much of the roof.
Originally there was no all-weather fenced area for the Playgroup to play safely outside, and no cupboard for their outside toys. Another improvement added later was the awning.
A major improvement to the building was the construction of the annexe which provided two team changing room with showers, a disabled toilet/baby changing facility and a new entrance on the groundfloor, with a meeting room upstairs which provides access to the storage loft via stairs rather than the previous ladder.
