This card was posted from the Field Post Office, and passed by the censor, on 4 April 1915. It was sent by Driver Donald Wilson 1047, 1st 2nd Batt. Royal Field Artillery, 1st Line Unit, 1st South Mid Div., 1st 3rd South Mid Brigade, British Expedition Force. To Miss Alice Williams of Icknield St., Hockley, B'ham.
He says, "Dear Alice, I arrived Friday quite safe & sound. We are fairly near the line & hope to be among them soon. Well dear I will write a letter just now. Have you wrote lately. Give my love to all at home. Donald.
