Doune Ukulele Group meet at the Rural Hall, Doune, every Wednesday, 7.30 – 9.30 pm, with a break for refreshments. We are a warm, friendly, and supportive group. New members of any age or musical ability are always welcome.

The aims of the group are to:

  • Promote the playing and enjoyment of the ukulele among group members and others.
  • Promote recreational activities and to encourage musical learning and development among our members.
  • Hold regular informal musical gatherings for members to enjoy playing the ukulele in a supportive atmosphere.
  • Play at gigs, community events, charity events and similar

Membership is open to anyone who agrees to the above aims.

Subscriptions are currently £12 per month (£6.00 for juniors and full-time students) to cover Hall hire, refreshments, and other expenses. We allow anybody to drop in for a couple of sessions before committing to membership. We have spare ukuleles, so you would be more than welcome to come along and try us out.

(If you need to borrow a uke, please contact us first).
