Angela Balcombe, Parish & CIF Grant Co-ordinator writes "I am pleased to inform you that your recent application to the Community Initiatives Fund (CIF) was successful and a grant of £15,632.00 has been approved towards the cost of your project." The project involves work on the Sports Pavillion. Also a grant from the Football Foundation has been applied for.
The Community Initiative Fund is a ECC grant system which is aimed at all local communities (Parishes) in Essex to support local projects which are for the benefit of the Parish. In our case our project is to construct an extension to the Sports Club to provide a female referees changing room, to replace the boiler, to re-furbish the showers, re-tile and new showers.
