Croydon Community Singing
In community singing, we sing in a group with no auditions. All voices are welcome, and the leader is warm and encouraging.
No experience is needed and no one is made to sing on their own. Fun, uplifting, connecting. Why not give it a go? It is a lovely way to meet new people, grow your skills and learn about more ways to connect in your local community for extra musical pleasures.
For our regular weekly sessions and one off events please visit the Adult Education course search page and search Singing or see our upcoming events calendar
Nature & music
We love organising singing in natural spaces, gardens, woods, community settings and public natural areas.
Check our Upcoming Events for occasional innovative woodland singing and sound art opportunities:
- We have two delightful campfire events this December 2025 guesting at the chilled Wild Moon woodland women and girl's circle event, with Suzy and singing campfire, at Heartwood, Frylands in Croydon's ancient forest.
- And a turn of Winter celebration on Dec 20th in the more accessible Pinewood centre near to MHA The Wilderness, with Singing, campfire and bushcraft.
- Across 2026 we have year 2 of our popular Sing & Stroll series across Croydon's beautiful green and blue spaces
Singing for wellbeing - hear from our singers
Singing helps uplift us, provide exercise and social connection in a gentle enjoyable way. This is being recognised at Government level too. In this 3 min video you can hear from some of our singers.
