The Eastern Counties Champion of Champions was held on Sunday 10th May 2026 at Littleport Leisure Centre, Cambridgeshire between the winners of the closed county tournaments in singles, pairs, triples and rinks. Each of the disciplines played five matches of 9 ends ends against the other five Counties.
Jim McLintock and Ashley & Paul Perkins represented the club, and Essex, in the triples section, winning their first two games (Suffolk and Norfolk), but unfortunately the remaining three (Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire) scoring a total of 4 points (with a total of 36 shots scored and 40 shots conceded) finishing in a respectable third place.
They now go on to the National Champions of Champions event to be held in Hartlepool over the weekend on June 6th and 7th. This will involve teams from Cambridgeshire, Durham, Hertfordshire, Lancashire, Norfolk, Northumberland, Suffolk and Sunderland.
