The club started the 2026/27 league season with a home match against Tipps Cross (a repeat of the final match of the previous season).
The match ended with Chignals & Mashbury winning two games, drawing one and losing one to emerge as winners scoring five points to Tipps Cross' three. The games were all very competative with the final shot count at thirtytwo for each club (last year the match had been a tie: four points and twentyfour shots each).
