As the cooler days come around our focus is now towards Christmas and our winter events. This means a move to more indoor activities although we’ll continue our walks followed by coffee or a light lunch. Going forward we are looking at doing more accessible events so more members can take part in activities such as the walks where hills and terrain can be an issue. Distances are always kept short and at a pace of the slowest meaning events are for everyone.

Autumn has seen Chameleon members enjoy a number of social events including an at home supper, a visit to the Rebellion Brewery, coffee and cake at a members home as well as the regular Lunch Club on the second Friday and Pub Night on the last Thursday of the month. These regular events are a great place to meet other people and for new members to find out more about the group.

For those who want to join us from home, especially useful during those cold or wet days, we have a Zoom social where we catch up for 40 minutes once a month. This is particularly useful for those who cannot easily get out and is also a place to swop ideas for future events and plan any travel.
