Sapper Hugh Green was a Sapper with the 725th Artillery Works Company, Royal Engineers. Prior to tthe outbreak of war he had been a Bonby resident
He died aged 28 on 23rd July 1943, of wounds whilst serving in Sicily
He was buried in Taranto British Military Cemetry on the island of Sicily. He was later reburied in the Syracuse British Cemetery, Sicily.
