The association depends on its volunteers for their time, experience and skills that they bring to the roles they do. They are an essential part of the association.
We are looking for people to join our band as we increase the benefits offered to our members.
Since Covid our numbers have increased to more than pre-pandemic levels and trade is increasing.
This means we are looking for volunteers in the following areas: -
- Help to run the 'Pop up' Cafe on the last sunday of the month. This runs from 10:00 until 12:00. The role simply consists of supporting with the Coffee/Tea/soft drinks. It runs at the same time as the shop so there is always experienced volunteers around. On the colder days it runs in the hut, on the better days there will be a gazebo outside.
- Help to run the trading in the hut. Volunteers can do as much as they wish. Once a month / week / every 6 weeks or just ad hoc. Whichever day they would like. We can also arrange regular patterns if wanted. Don't worry if you cannot lift heavy objects either as we can pair you with someone suitable. Full training given.
Ad Hoc Work projects.
As we develop the offerings from the association, we are landscaping the grassy area next to the Storage container so we can hold social functions there.
