🌿 Spring SEND Day at Slimbridge. Come and Join Me!
I’m really excited to be part of the Spring SEND Days at WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre this May!
These special days are designed for children and young people with additional needs and their families, with a gentle, inclusive approach to exploring nature together.
Dates: Sunday 17th & Monday 18th May
I’ll be there delivering Makaton story sessions as part of the day – including a quieter, calmer session too
Across the day, there’s a lovely mix of activities to dip in and out of at your own pace, including:
- Pond dipping
- Minibeast hunts
- Arts and crafts
- A sensory room
- And lots of opportunities to enjoy the wetlands and wildlife
All activities are included in your ticket, and once you’ve checked in, you can simply choose what suits you and your family.
It’s shaping up to be a really welcoming, relaxed and joyful couple of days – with nature, communication and connection at the heart of it all.
I’d absolutely love to see some familiar faces there!
