So, you're thinking of trying your hand at lawn bowls. Then come along to Beckenham & Stanhope Bowling Club for our 2024 outdoors bowls season. Put these dates in your diary now so you don't forget.

OUR OPEN DAYS ARE ON THE 1ST MONDAY OF EACH MONTH
BEGINNING OF MAY TO SEPTEMBER 2024, between 1.45pm and 4pm

besides our Big Bowls Weekend advertised below, you can come to another Open Day on Saturday 11th May between 10am and 4pm.

It's absolutely free to give it a try

It is a sport for everybody. 

 

Whether you are male or female aged 18 or 88, you’re never too young or too old to give this fantastic sport a try. Come and meet us, where you will receive:-

* A warm welcome

* All the equipment supplied (all we ask is that you come along wearing flat-soled shoes so as not to cause damage to the green)

* Tuition from our Bowls England qualified Coaches and experienced players who are willing to help

* We’ll show you how to play a proper game of bowls!

* And if you’d like refreshments, we’ll supply those too

* Come and join us. We are a small bowls club. We are a sociable lot and full of people looking to have fun. It is a great way to relax, make new friends and feel part of the local community.

We can be found, here, in Croydon Road Recreation Ground, Beckenham. (towards St Edmunds Church, adjacent to the basketball court),  on street parking in Village Way or Sainsburys car park.

We are your local friendly Beckenham club; we can’t guarantee that you’ll become a champion bowler but we can guarantee you’ll have fun and make many new friends. Interested?
