Welcome to Cycling UK Aylesbury

Aylesbury CTC is the local group of the national cycling organisation Cycling UK which has about 70,000 members.

Cycling UK provides a magazine, third party insurance, technical advice, cycling holidays and free access to led rides via local groups like ours. We welcome newcomers to cycling and have some Newcomer Rides in spring. We offer a choice of led rides on Sundays, social evenings in a pub and occasional cycling holidays.  Come and meet us at The Kings Head, Market Square, Aylesbury, HP20 2RW on the second Tuesday of each month from 7.30 pm; we are usually in the corner room in the Farmers Bar.

Upcoming rides

We are a member group of South Bucks CTC so you join their Midweek rides and those of the Chiltern Hills and Thames Valley groups.  The South Bucks Rides List includes our rides as well as those of the other groups and you can see them here.

Route Library

If you want a ready made route or inspiration for creating one have a look at our route library on Plotaroute.  You can view the routes, see the distance and ascent and download a gpx file for a Garmin or any GPS Receiver. There is a button to allow full screen viewing and you can print the map.  The map looks quite useable if you print it on multiple pages.
