Football

North Sheen Recreation Ground is home to Kew Park Rangers. Kew Park Rangers is an FA Charter Standard Community Football Club. KPR has teams for adults, boys and girls who train and play regularly at North Sheen Recreation Ground.

Friends of North Sheen Rec would like to say, huge congratulations to Kew Park Rangers on winning the FA National Standard Charter Community Club of the Year award, presented to KPR directors at Wembley in August 2015 in front of a crowd of 85,000 by soccer legend Sir Geoff Hurst.

Martial Arts

North Sheen Rec is home to Exiles Martial Arts who meet on Monday evenings at 7pm in the pavilion. The Exiles teach a full martial arts curriculum including unarmed striking and grappling, dagger attack and defence, longsword in one and two hands and poleaxe and spear weapons, both in and out of armour. Fitness Training

To hold a fitness training or small group activity session you will need to obtain a permit from the Richmond Council Parks and Open Spaces team. This enables Richmond Council to manage activities (in respect of safety, usage levels and potential conflict), ensuring the parks are protected and access is maintained.
