Facilities

The Village Hall in the quiet hamlet of Water Yeat is situated in the Crake Valley south of Coniston

The hall consists of a main room (5.5m x 15m) with a kitchen and toilets.

The kitchen contains a fridge, an oven and hob, microwave, water boiler/tea urn, kettles, crockery and cutlery.

It is available for receptions, parties and meetings.

Seating is available for up to 70 people in theatre arrangement and about 50 in cabaret style. There are 15 tables available (suitable for 4 persons each), plus some long trestle tables.

There is a mobile and flexible stage (15cm high, 3m x 3m) and lighting is available for bands    We have an professional audio system for playing music. You can plug in a music player in via the headphone socket.

 
The hall’s heating is very efficient and makes for a warm environment.

The hall is accessible for wheelchairs.

Parking for the hall is along the roads in Water Yeat. There is no street lighting so a torch is advisable in the winter months, for evening bookings.

The hall is well maintained and in good decorative order.
