Mole Valley District Council advises Parish Councils about all planning applications registered each week. Parish Councils are entitled to consider applications affecting their parishes and recommend that applications be accepted or refused. The time limit for receipt of comments is usually 3 weeks. A request for an extension of time to consider an application may be made to the case officer. Applications are generally decided by the case officer although some applications may be referred to the MVDC Committee for a decision. Residents may comment on applications directly.
