We are a group of local, concerned citizens of Lee, Grove Park Ward in the London Borough of Lewisham campaigning to preserve the Site of Interest for Nature Conservation at Willow Tree Riding Establishment and Nature Reserve, between Hither Green Railway Sidings, Ronver Road, Rayford Avenue and St Mildred’s Road, all in SE12.
The reserve, which has long been under threat of inappropriate development by a property speculator, is designated as Metropolitan Open Land and is part of a stretch of land that Lewisham Council has agreed will become part of a much larger district park.
