Asymptomatic testing
Extra testing facilities will open in Wandsworth from Monday 12 April after a number of cases of the COVID-19 South African variant have been identified in south London.
Around 1 in 3 people who have COVID-19 do not have any symptoms and can spread it without knowing. The Council is therefore encouraging everyone who lives or works in Wandsworth to book an asymptomatic PCR test.
The Council is making additional testing sites available to support people to get tested locally.
Please note that only PCR testing can be used to detect variants
