Trustee

Cherill Scott has been a WCA Trustee since 2012. She has been a Wandsworth resident for many years. During this time her voluntary activities in the Borough have included: serving on the governing bodies of a primary and secondary school; acting as a Manager under the Mental Health Act at Springfield Hospital; chairing the former Wandsworth & East Merton Community Health Council, followed by a term on Wandsworth & East Merton District Health Authority. More recently, she has been a non-executive director on the board of Kingston Hospital.

Cherill is one of WCA’s nominees on the Healthwatch Wandsworth Committee, and is a member of HWW’s ‘Enter & View’ team. She has a life-long commitment to the NHS, in which she once worked as a nurse following her training at St George’s Hospital. She has spent most of her professional life in academic research, with special interests in health policy and the quality of nursing care.
