Mental Health & LGBT Manager
Katie joined WCA in June 2021, taking over the Voicing Views – adult mental health – and the LGBTQ mental health projects. She has a degree in psychology, and a wealth of experience in user research and service design, having spent seven years designing and improving services for both private and public sector clients.
Understanding the experiences of service users is incredibly important to Katie, which led her to also take on a role at Mind prior to joining WCA, directly supporting adults with mental health problems and helping them to become independent. This experience was invaluable and has given her great insight into the services and mental health system at Wandsworth.
