We are looking for a driver with a vehicle to drive to and collect food donations from supermarkets around the Richmond Twickenham area. This role will suit an early riser who enjoys meeting people and doing something good for the environment.
Purpose/ summary of role:
Objective
To ensure collection of surplus food from donating retailers so the pop-up café can operate.
Role Aims:

Liaising with The Real Junk Food Project - Twickenham Managers where food needs to be collected from (via WhatsApp).

Collect from donors and transport to the café.

Weigh the donated food broken down by donating retailer.
Other Activities (if and when required)

To help out in the kitchen and general set –up.

Participate in meetings and other events.

Transport food to secondary reuse projects after the café has closed (2pm).
Vehicle: Must be able to use own vehicle.
When: Weekly on Mondays 7am until 10am
