Welcome to The Egham Band

 

The Egham Band is a friendly and hard working Championship Section brass band based in North Surrey. We rehearse in a purpose built band hall, complete with social club, just a short walk from Egham train station.

The band play many engagements ranging from themed concerts to parades, including the famous Lewes Bonfire Parade, Remembrance Sunday Parade in Egham, and the ever popular Windsor Christmas Parades. The band often participate in prestigious local events, for example, playing for The Queen's Jubilee on the Long Walk in 2022, The Queen at The Patrons Lunch in 2016 and The PGA Golf tournaments.

The band also has a strong relationship with Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, twinned with Runnymede.  The band last visited and performed in September 2022 and will return in 2024 or 2025.

The band also regularly competes in the annual regional contest in Stevenage and further afield.
