We've been running the TechSoup Connect England community (ne TechSoup Connect London & NetSquared London) for over 10 years as we know doing digital in the voluntary and community sector (VCS) can be challenging. Especially if you don't know here to start.

So we've been building skills and confidence within voluntary and community sector organisations as they strive to increase their effectiveness through digital improvements.

Our offer is to support people to take little actions and make little changes which can over time lead to bigger impacts on the way their organisations operate.

  • We've delivered a series of online events on crowdsourced topics delivering practical support and solutions to everyday digital challenges.

  • We've provided a space for information sharing, networking, questions and discussion during and in between events.

  • We've facilitated interactions between people with different, but transferable digital skills, knowledge and experience.

We're here for:

  • People working at the 'coal face' of developing the use of digital in their organisation whether through choice or by accident

  • Digital professionals wanting to share their skills, knowledge and experiences with voluntary and community organisations

However TechSoup recently informed chapter organisers globally that the TechSoup Connect programme will officially close on 19 June 2026. And as part of this change, the events.techsoup.org platform will also go offline on that date.

Over the coming weeks, the organising team will be discussing possible transition plans and next steps.

If you would like to stay in touch and be updated about our future plans - please sign up to our mailing list here.

We want to thank everyone who has participated in TechSoup Connect England over the years - whether by attending events, speaking, volunteering as a co-organiser, sharing knowledge, or simply being part of the conversation.

This community has always been about people supporting one another to use technology for social good, and we deeply appreciate the role each of you has played in that journey.
