Hi chaps
Finally all met up in York after a delay on the trains due to a fire at Wavertree junction do not know if it was railway related or property near the railway, but leisurely coffees were enjoyed in the LNW hotel at Lime street.
We met up with Tony & Don at the magnificent York station and proceeded to walk the walls. Expertly guided we sampled the delights of seven!!! hostelries but this was spread out being quite a long but as always thoroughly enjoyable outing. A longish trip home for all the TWITS so time to put our feet up today it’s hard going this retirement lark.
