'We are a small group, whose membership is by invitation only and is made up of volunteers who come from a variety of backgrounds, but all with experience in helping with missing or lost animals, or animal care and rehabilitation.

We have members from DogLost, Harvey's Army, All About Animals, local Animal Rescue & Foster, Veterinary, RSPCA, Cats Protection, Local Authority, the Police, Independent Rescues and more.

http://dronesaruk.org/- Drone SAR for Lost Dogs UK was set up by founder, Graham Burton in 2017. Graham was a member of a lost dog group in West Wales, and as he had a drone, he used this to search for lost dogs in his local area. 

'The group has grown exponentially since 2017 and is seen as a leader in this style of dog search and rescue. Graham has also assisted in setting up a South African group, Drone SAR for Lost Dogs South Africa.

https://www.hereforcats.org/: Here for Cats is a new rescue group, established by a small number of dedicated and experienced volunteers to help cats in need in the Surrey and neighbouring counties by providing shelter, warmth, food, veterinary care and love, and finding suitable new homes. They provide fantastic support to members of the public who are concerned about the welfare of a cat, and can advise on stray cats. Surrey Missing Pet Support CIC provide Here For Cats with a microchip scanning service.

Established in 2015, Duty of Care Pet Services UK, based in Surrey, has evolved into an established Professional Pet Care & Transportation company, and is one of the only Animal Ambulance services to carry oxygen, operating throughout London and the South East. They provide emergency ambulance transportation and veterinary transfers, as well as a standard pet taxi service.  Based in Surrey, and can provide local and national transportation. MUDDY PAWS CRIME

 

We are pleased to announce that after a fantastic meeting with the Muddy Paws Crime team, that we are looking at ways of working closer alongside each other in order to offer the best support possible to missing pet owners. 

 

During our meeting, we discussed many topics, and Im sure we could have talked for hours! Moving forward, any missing reports that would be appropriate to pass on to the Muddy Paw Crime team will be done automatically, with our 'Missing Pet Checklist' adapted to also include them in our other support group information. In a similar manner, missing pets within Surrey will also be passed along to ourselves, again so that owners have a comprehensive support network that they can access.
