The Appellant (Boningale) has requested an Inquiry is undertaken regarding the 70 proposed homes just outside the village border.
The Inquiry for the scheme occurred from the 20th October 2025 (originally planned for July) we are currently awaiting a site visit that is scheduled for 4th November 2025.

Previous responses to the planning application have been forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate and do not need to be repeated. However, if anyone is interested in seeing the additional documents when you go to the planning application site for Shropshire [https://pa.shropshire.gov.uk/online-applications/] please select the “Appeals” tab and then add “Tilstock” as your key word and it should come up with the appeal documentation.

The fact that the Inspector is going to undertake a site visit means we are keen to see posters around the village (and plan to add some strategic ones on the main access to the village), any households wanting to display posters would be welcomed (make your own or get in touch if you need help).

The Stop Tilstock Development Committee
The 2.4ha site is located outside the border of Tilstock. It is currently used as agricultural / grazing land. The full planning application to Shropshire Council was for 70 dwellings (and there is no longer reference to a care home facility).
The scheme proposes a range of homes with a policy compliant 10% of the homes being designated as affordable housing. A biodiversity net gain is intended to be agreed through an off-site contribution.
