The planning reference for the development at Shropshire Council is 24/04176/FUL "Residential development of 70 dwellings including access, open space, landscaping and associated works"
The consultation stage for the develoment has now been extended to 19 March 2025 and new documents (as of 11 February 2025) have been added to the Shropshire Planning Portal on:
- Site access arrangments
- Refuse vehicle track
- Proposed site layout
- Designer's response report
- Biodiversity net gain assessment
We are waiting on the application discussion at Planning Committee (Planning Application Ref: 24/04176/FUL) and will update when the meeting date is known. We are planning on sending community representatives.

The 2.4ha site is located outside the border of Tilstock. It is currently used as agricultural / grazing land. The full planning application to Shropshire Council was for 70 dwellings (and there is no longer reference to a care home facility).
The scheme proposes a range of homes with a policy compliant 10% of the homes being designated as affordable housing. A biodiversity net gain is intended to be agreed through an off-site contribution.
