Junior Membership applies to people under age 17 at 1st April in the year of joining or renewal unless they are in full time education in which case they must be under the age of 18 at the 1st April in the year of joining.

The membership year runs from the 1st April - 31st March, however new members are able to apply at any time between these dates. Details are shown on the Membership Application & Fees page on this website.

SFA offers only one membership category that covers both coarse and fly fishing.

No, there are only 2 membership categories - full and junior member.

No, fishing on SFA waters is strictly limited to members and their guests.

There are a few car parking areas fairly close to the river but access on foot is across farmland with no defined pathways. There are many remote stretches that are some walking distance from the car parking areas. The parking areas are shown on the fishery maps supplied to members.
