ABOUT SFA
The Somerfords Fishing Association was formed in 1884 by a group of dedicated Bristol Fly Fishing Anglers. Today our membership comes from far and wide. Membership is strictly limited but we currently have vacancies, please contact us for more details.
The Association provides river fishing on the upper stretches of the Bristol Avon. Members can coarse or fly fish on an unspoilt part of this river. The Association is run by a committee made of volunteers who deal with securing fishing rights, paying rent and expenses, maintaining river access and bank-side conditions as well as collecting membership fees. Further information can be found by selecting from the navigation menu on this page.
THIS WEBSITE PROVIDES INFORMATION ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION INCLUDING HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER. IT ALSO PROVIDES INFORMATION FOR MEMBERS ONLY TO ACCESS BUT IS NOT VIEWABLE BY THE WIDER PUBLIC.
