With Roots We Grow

With Roots We Grow offers a bespoke, trauma-informed, woodland-based alternative provision for vulnerable young people aged 5–18 who are struggling to thrive in mainstream education.

We bridge the gap between mental health support and education by using a low demand, Forest School approach to reduce nervous system arousal, build trusting relationships with safe adults, and unlock innate creativity.

We specialise in supporting children and young people who are healing from trauma, severe anxiety, and placement breakdowns, offering small-group and 1:1 provision designed to establish psychological safety and emotional regulation first. By focusing  on stabilizing these foundational 'roots', we can then move forward together to rebuild a young person's self-esteem and confidence, and provide the secure emotional grounding they need to re-engage with learning and transition onwards.
