The Horticultural summer show has grown to an annual village show with the Cricket club and the Primary School playing significant parts.  That does not mean that the Summer show does not have the usual marquee with a chance to enter your home-grown flowers, fruit and veg, as well as home cooking, preserves, drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), photos, needlework, handicrafts and children's classes.  It is all still there with other stalls around to give a full afternoon out for all the family.
