North Yorkshire Chorus is a community chorus based in Northallerton, North Yorkshire performing larger choral works such as the ever popular Requiem's but also less well known choral pieces from Vaughan Williams, Bob Chilcott and the like. We perform in a number of local churches including Thirsk, Bedale and Sowerby as well as Northallerton.
NYC offer a very warm welcome to new members. Our principal objectives are to experience and enjoy the pleasure of singing choral music together in our rehearsals and to reach a high standard of performance that audiences will enjoy at our concerts.
Our next concert entitled 'How Lovely are thy Dwellings' will take place at St. Oswalds Church, Sowerby on Saturday 6th June at 7.30pm.
