The chorus warmly welcomes new singing members. We generally rehearse on Saturday afternoons every other week in Northallerton Methodist Church Hall in the centre of Northallerton. Rehearsal times are from 2pm until 4.30pm with a break for refreshments and cake and a natter. It is desireable, but not essential, for members to have some sight reading experience.
Come along and see if you enjoy singing with us. If you decide to stay, there is an annual subscription, which for the 2024/25 season is £95 for the full year or £50 for a half-year (waived for students in full time education and for anyone who may be un-employed.) Subscriptions are due at the start of each rehearsal period and by the end of September and/or January as appropriate. The cost of music hire is included in the membership subscription. If you have your own music, please check in advance with the Librarian that it is a suitable edition. Please bring a soft (B oir 2B) pencil and an eraser with you to rehearsals.
