Mytchett Lake Fishing Association

Angling is allowed for members through a limited annual membership. The membership runs from 16th June to 14th March each year. There is strictly no fishing allowed between 15th March and 15th June inclusive. Members of the armed forces must have a valid annual membership permit to fish the lake. Application for membership for the 2026/27 season is now closed. We were heavily oversubscribed with membership applications for 2026/27, so apologies to those who applied but were not offered membership - please try again next year. Membership applications for the 2027/28 season will open in early February 2027. Anyone who was unsuccessful in 2026 needs to reapply in 2027 as the list doesn't roll over. Membership prices for 2027/28 are being reviewed and the prices below will be updated if they change.

We also run an exhange permit scheme with Farnborough and District Assocation (FADAS), that allows our members to fish Shawfields Lake in North Town.

Day tickets can be purchased from Woodstock Stores,Frimley Rd, Ash Vale, Aldershot GU12 5PP, not far from the lake. These currently cost £7. Day tickets must be purchased prior to fishing for the water adjacent to the Road Bank only and only cover fishing from dawn to dusk.
