Mytchett Lake Fishing Association

Angling is allowed for members through an annual membership. The membership runs from 16th June to 14th March each year. There is strictly no fishing allowed between 15th March and 15th June inclusive. The lake has a limited membership. Members of the armed forces must have a valid annual membership permit to fish the lake. Application for membership for the 2025/26 season is now closed. Membership applications for the 2026/27 season will open at 8.30am on 2nd February 2026. Membership prices for 2026/27 are being reviewed and the prices below will be updated if they change.

Membership applications for 2026/27. You can apply to join the waiting list for membership. This year we have a simple online application form. You just have to enter your details on the form, (check that you enter them correctly!) and hit the Submit button at the end. You will get an on screen confirmation that your form has been submitted and within a few minutes you will get an automated email confirming your application and your position in the list, with details of what will happen next. Please check your junk/spam email folders.

If you are applying for a junior, please add your email and phone on the form and in the 'Additional comments' section give your name and say that you are applying for a junior. If you want to apply for yourself and a junior, submit a form for each of you and put a comment that you are applying for a junior (or juniors) in the  'Additional comments' question and add their name(s).

Day tickets can be purchased from Woodstock Stores,Frimley Rd, Ash Vale, Aldershot GU12 5PP, not far from the lake. These currently cost £7. Day tickets must be purchased prior to fishing for the water adjacent to the Road Bank only and only cover fishing from dawn to dusk.
