No there is no on site parking. Limited roadside parking is available by the lake on Mytchett Lake Road and parking is available in an allocated section of the Keogh Barracks car park close by. Parking at Keogh Barracks is for members only. If you park at the barracks, report to the sentry office by the gate and the supplied car pass must be left clearly displayed in your car.
Yes. Day tickets can be purchased from Woodstock Stores,Frimley Rd, Ash Vale, Aldershot GU12 5PP, not far from the lake. These currently costs £7. Day tickets must be purchased prior to fishing for the water adjacent to the Road Bank only and only cover fishing from dawn to dusk.
Boats and bait boats are allowed for members only and incur an extra charge to be paid with the annual subscription. Life jackets must be worn by boat users.
The lake has a limited membership. Application for membership for the 2025/26 season will reopen in early 2025. Prospective members should send an email to mytchett.lake@gmail.com for details.
